Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Vector Techno Labs ("we", "us", "our", trading as Veil) provides a Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) SDK and associated threat monitoring platform for Android and iOS developers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our SDK, console dashboard, or website.

2. Information we collect

2.1 SDK data (on behalf of our customers)

When our SDK is integrated into a customer's mobile app, it collects security signals from end-user devices including: device model, OS version, app version, a pseudonymous device fingerprint, detected threat types, and risk scores. This data is processed on behalf of our customers (the app developer) and is used solely to provide the security service. We act as a data processor; the customer is the data controller.

2.2 Dashboard and account data

When you register for a Veil account we collect your name, work email address, company name, and password (stored as a one-way hash). We use this information to provide and support the service.

2.3 Website data

Our website collects standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and any information you voluntarily submit via the demo request form.

3. How we use information

• To deliver and improve the Veil platform and SDK.
• To send transactional emails (demo confirmations, account notifications).
• To detect abuse or violations of our Terms of Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

4. Data retention

SDK threat event data is retained for up to 90 days by default unless a customer configures a shorter retention period or requests deletion. Account data is retained for the duration of the customer relationship and deleted within 30 days of account closure upon request.

5. Security

All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Passwords are hashed using Argon2id / SHA-256. API keys and webhook secrets are stored in hashed or encrypted form. We apply rate limiting and authentication to all API endpoints.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@vectortechnolabs.com.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered customers of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
